Find your Bliss
Places i've jumped:
- Tar Creek - Padres National Forest - an hour north of L.A. - primo! If the jump isn't big enough, keep heading downstream - they get bigger and bigger.
- Upper Hot Springs Canyon - in the San Bernadino Mtns - read my guidebook's description - guess what, i got poison oak here! Weird area, i saw tons of salamanders on this hike, a couple water snakes, a nest of frogs, and 2 tarantulas!
- Aztec rock - on Deep Creep up near Lake Arrowhead.
- Crater Lake - Oregon - hike the only trail down to the lake on the hottest day of the year - turn right and look for the tallest rock you can find to jump off of, there are several options. You'll need your boots for the climb, toss them down to your buddies below. The water is sooo clear, you won't believe it's deep enough! (swim it first to make sure!). Splash! Cold, clear water, swim and drink at the same time!
- Boundary waters in Minnesota - my first cliff jump - lots of opportunities in the land of 10,000 lakes!
- More to come.....
